MBS Thermal Imaging is a division of JBS Home Inspections Inc. that performs residential home energy audits.  We use an infrared camera in conjunction with a blower door to test the house for air leaks.  These leaks lead to wasted energy, wasted money and unwanted, avoidable pollution.  We also look at heating systems, water heaters, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and windows to find inefficiencies and leaks that cause unnecessary energy consumption.  We will help the homeowner plan efficiency upgrades. 
 

Alex Steinberg, the owner of MBS Thermal Imaging, has worked as a home inspector for the last ten years.  He draws from his home inspection background and has the unique ability to see the house as a whole, and not just individual as parts and systems under one roof.  Houses are collections of building materials and systems that must work together to provide a healthy, safe and efficient home.
