I decided to start a home inspection business in 2000 because I enjoy working with people, and I have always been interested in home maintenance.  I am also intrigued with the interaction of multiple systems.  Understanding these connections is vital in maintaining a balance among them.    

I am also interested in ways to reduce greenhouse gasses and to make homes more energy efficient.  

I think of each inspection and energy audit as a teaching experience for the homeowner, as well as a learning experience for me. Every house is different, and this is part of the appeal and of the challenge. I approach each inspection with an open mind, attention to detail, and a step-by-step process. This process insures that every client gets a thorough and personalized inspection.
